Give constructive and appreciative feedback during your shift

During my shift, I make sure to give feedback in a way that’s both helpful and encouraging. When I see someone doing something well, I make it a point to appreciate it right away, even if it’s something simple. A quick “Good job” or “I noticed how focused you were earlier—nice work” can really boost someone’s confidence. At the same time, if I see something that can be improved, I try to share it in a kind and respectful way. Instead of pointing out mistakes harshly, I usually say something like, “Maybe next time you can try doing it this way,” or “What if we do it like this to make it easier?” That way, the person doesn’t feel judged but supported. For me, feedback isn’t just about correcting people—it’s about helping each other grow while also making them feel appreciated. Everyone works better when they feel respected and valued[tex].[/tex]
