On the first day, the munggo plant shows its early germination stage. The cotyledons (seed leaves) are starting to appear above the soil, and the small stem is slightly stretching upward toward the sunlight. At this stage, the plant looks delicate and pale green because it is just beginning to produce chlorophyll. Its orientation also starts to bend in the direction of the light source, showing the natural response of plants called phototropism.
