For me, the movie Anak is really touching because it shows the struggles of a mother who works abroad just to give her family a better life. It makes you realize how much sacrifice parents make, especially mothers, even if their children don’t always understand it right away. The story also reflects real situations here in the Philippines, where many families are separated because of work abroad. Watching it made me feel both sad and grateful, because it reminds us to appreciate our parents more and to understand that their strictness or distance often comes from love[tex].[/tex]
