Among sociology, anthropology, history, and economics, I feel most connected to sociology because it helps me understand how people interact and how society affects behavior. For example, I’ve noticed in school that students form groups based on interests or social backgrounds, and sociology explains why these patterns happen. It also helps me see how family, friends, and community influence choices, like deciding on hobbies or careers. During volunteer work, I observed how communities organize themselves and solve problems together, which made me appreciate social structures more. Sociology makes me more aware of relationships, rules, and social challenges, which I can relate to in daily life, unlike other disciplines that focus more on history or economic trends.
