Shaping solid objectsSizeWhile the overall volume of the object might remain the same (especially if you're just reshaping it and not removing any material), the dimensions (length, width, height, diameter, etc.) will definitely change. For example, if you flatten a ball of clay, its height decreases, and its width and length increase.ShapeThis is the most obvious change. Shaping a solid object inherently means altering its form or outline.TextureDepending on how the solid is shaped, the surface texture can change. For instance, bending a metal bar might create stress marks or creases, altering its smoothness. Carving wood will create a rougher texture than sanding it smooth.ColorColor is least likely to change significantly through simple reshaping. However, some processes could indirectly affect color. For example, excessive heating during shaping might cause discoloration in certain materials. Also, if the object has layers of different colors, reshaping might expose different layers, making the color appear to change on the surface.
