For me, being a Filipino is about staying strong and hopeful, even in difficult times.How It Differs from Rizal’s Concept:Dr. Jose Rizal believed that being a true Filipino means fighting for freedom, standing up for justice, and valuing education. While I see being Filipino as more about daily values and traditions, Rizal’s concept focuses more on the responsibilities of being a Filipino—like using our knowledge and voice to improve the nation. His idea is deeper in terms of nationalism and sacrifice, while mine is more on everyday expressions of being Filipino.
