If you were mentoring someone struggling with self-doubt, what advice would you give about managing their thoughts?

If you're struggling with self-doubt, remember that your thoughts aren't always facts. Question them—ask if there's real evidence behind them, and speak to yourself with the same kindness you'd offer a friend. Reframe negative thoughts by saying, “I’m having a thought that…” to remind yourself they’re not your identity. Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on your own growth and progress. Confidence doesn’t come before action—it follows it. Even when you doubt yourself, keep showing up. Over time, track your thoughts in a journal to see patterns and learn to challenge them with truth and self-compassion.
