The human respiratory system is the part of our body that helps us breathe. When we breathe in, we take in oxygen, and when we breathe out, we remove carbon dioxide, which is a waste gas. This system includes parts like:Nose - filters the dust when air enters the noseTrachea (or windpipe) - this the passageway of airLungs - To breathe and to breathe out airAlveoli - The one that works in exchanging the gas These parts work together to move air in and out of the body. This process is important for homeostasis, that keeps on trying the inside of our body balanced and working, so that we will function properly. By making sure we have enough oxygen and removing harmful carbon dioxide, the respiratory system helps our body to stay put and stable.
