Early Filipinos passed on their knowledge and skills in the arts through oral tradition and hands-on teaching. Elders would tell stories, sing songs, chant epics, and demonstrate techniques in weaving, carving, pottery, and other crafts to the young ones. These were taught by example, usually within the family or community, so that the younger generation could observe, practice, and learn directly from the masters. This helped preserve their culture and artistic traditions even without written records.
