Answer (1)

1.) C. Melting When a solid turns to a liquid, it's called melting. Like Ice melting and turning into water2.) B. Chemical When wood is burning, it is experiencing chemical change, specifically, combustion. It is a chemical change because it cannot revert back to its original form and produces new products with a different chemical composition. When wood burns, it produces carbon dioxide, water vapor, and ash that all have different compositions. 3. ) C. EvaporationWhen water turns into gas, it's called evaporation. We see this in our water cycle all the time. When water evaporates and rise up to come back down again to rain or precipitate. When you boil water and notice gas or smoke forming, it's actually water vapor from the same process.
