Answer (1)

[tex]2 \frac{1}{4}[/tex] or 2.25 meters of the garden were harvestedFirst, Convert 4 ½ to improper fraction: 4 ½ = 9/2Second: Get 2/3 of 9/2 by multiplying them (2/3) × (9/2) = 18/6 = 3 meters of tomatoes plantedStep 3: Get 3/4 of 3 meters by multiplying them as well  (3/4) × 3 = 9/4 = 2 ¼ metersTherefore, 2 ¼ meters were harvested from the garden.
