In my experience, there was a time I pretended to understand a lesson in class because I was too shy to ask questions. I ended up getting confused during the test and performed poorly. If I had admitted that I didn’t fully understand and asked for help, I would have learned more and avoided that failure. Socrates' point reminds us that real wisdom begins when we humbly accept that we don’t know everything — only then can we truly grow.
