The Filipino value shown is pagiging maka-Diyos (God-fearing). We Filipinos are known for being prayerful and believing that prayer is a big part of life, especially when facing problems. When I pray, I usually ask for guidance and safety for my family: “Panginoon, ingatan Mo po ang aking pamilya, bigyan Mo po kami ng lakas at talino.” This is important because my family’s safety and well-being matter most to me. Prayer gives me peace of mind and hope. It helps me stay calm in stressful times and reminds me that I am not alone. It means I trust God to help me with things I can’t control.
