Both humans and plants have organ systems that perform vital processes like transport, gas exchange, nutrition, and reproduction. Humans use their circulatory system to move oxygen and nutrients, while plants rely on xylem and phloem to transport water and food. Gas exchange happens through lungs in humans and stomata in plants. Humans get energy by eating, but plants make their own food via photosynthesis. Both have reproductive organs, but humans can move actively, whereas plants are mostly stationary and grow continuously. Waste removal also differs: humans excrete through kidneys and skin, while plants store or convert wastes. Despite these differences, both have systems adapted to support their survival in unique ways.
