How I Understand and Appreciate the Society that Shapes My Social BehaviorSociety plays a big role in shaping who I am and how I behave. From the moment I was born, I have been part of a community that teaches me values, customs, and norms. Through my family, school, friends, media, and even religion, I learned what is considered right and wrong, what is expected of me, and how to relate with others.I understand society as a group of people who live together and share common beliefs, rules, and practices. It includes everything around me — from the people I interact with to the traditions I follow. It sets the standards that guide my actions. For example, I learned to respect elders, to help others, to say "po" and "opo," and to follow rules not only because my parents told me so, but also because that’s what our society expects.I also appreciate how society helps me grow as a person. Being part of a community gives me a sense of identity and belonging. School teaches me how to communicate and work with others. My friends help me develop social skills like cooperation, empathy, and patience. Social media, while sometimes negative, also opens my eyes to different opinions and cultures. All of these help shape my social behavior — the way I talk, react, and relate to others.Society is not perfect, and I am aware of that. There are challenges like peer pressure, discrimination, and unrealistic standards. But despite that, I believe society gives us the tools we need to become better individuals. It teaches us lessons, tests our character, and helps us build our values. In conclusion, I understand society as the environment that influences how we behave, think, and grow. I appreciate it because it teaches me how to live with others and become a responsible person. My social behavior is a reflection of the people, culture, and values around me — and I am grateful for that.
