if God is loving why didn't He force us to be good or why did he give us free will even though we are sinners?

Answer:Many believe that God gave us free will out of love, not as a flaw but as a gift. If God had forced humanity to be good, then our choices would be empty, mechanical obedience without meaning. Free will allows people to choose goodness not because they are made to, but because they believe in it. Even though this freedom means we are capable of sin, it also makes possible the beauty of forgiveness, growth, and genuine love. The ability to choose even to fail gives our relationship with God depth, trust, and honesty. In this view, God’s love is not controlling, but patient and hopeful, allowing us to learn, return, and become better by our own will.
