I learned that the circulatory system is the body’s transport system. It is made up of the heart, blood, and blood vessels. Its main job is to deliver oxygen and nutrients to all parts of the body and remove waste products like carbon dioxide. I also learned about the two main types of circulation: pulmonary circulation (blood going to the lungs and back) and systemic circulation (blood going to the rest of the body).
