This describes the Plum Pudding Model by J.J. Thomson. He said an atom is like a positive sphere with negative electrons embedded in it. Imagine a round cake (the positive charge) with raisins inside (the negative electrons). This idea helped scientists understand that atoms have parts inside, but later models improved it, like Rutherford’s model with a nucleus.
