As a straight male student, I would rate the knowledge about gender issues at 7 out of 10. I understand the basic concepts of gender equality, respect, and identity. However, I believe I still need to learn more about the everyday struggles of women and the LGBTQ community—like discrimination, stereotyping, and lack of opportunities—because these are real issues that affect their safety and self-worth. Understanding their experiences helps me become more empathetic, respectful, and supportive. It also teaches me how to speak out against unfair treatment, both in school and in society.
