Visual art has become a huge part of my life because of my exposure through social media, museums, and the internet. On social media, I follow artists on Instagram and TîkTøk who post time-lapse videos of their paintings, digital art, and animations. These platforms make it easy for me to discover new styles like hyperrealism, digital collage, and even abstract expressionism.Local museums and galleries have helped me understand Filipino culture and history through traditional paintings and sculptures. When I visited the National Museum, I saw artworks by Juan Luna and Fernando Amorsolo that gave me a deeper appreciation of our national identity.On the internet, I access virtual galleries, watch YøuTübe art tutorials, and read about famous artists from around the world. This exposure has improved my creativity and inspired me to try sketching and using drawing apps like IbisPaint. Overall, visual art is now more accessible and meaningful to me because of these modern platforms.
