May 3, 2025Today during my caregiving OJT, I assisted with feeding elderly patients at the care facility. I practiced proper hygiene and followed correct feeding techniques, especially for those who have difficulty swallowing. I also changed bed sheets and helped monitor vital signs. I learned the importance of patience, respect, and careful observation. It made me realize that caregiving is not just a skill, but a service of compassion.
