Proverbs 1:7–9 teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and that honoring parents leads to wisdom. For me, having fear of God means respecting His teachings and choosing to do what is right even when no one is watching.When I obey my parents, I learn discipline, humility, and respect. They guide me away from bad influences and teach me to make wise choices. This builds my moral foundation. A person who listens to God and to their parents is more likely to grow up honest, kind, and responsible.
