Interphase is the longest phase of the cell cycle.The main stages of the cell cycle are interphase and mitotic (M) phase.G1 phase is where rapid cell growth occurs.S phase where DNA replication occurs.Mitotic phase (M phase) includes prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis.
