Unlike us, Rizal relied on books, letters, and libraries, yet he still learned many languages, became a doctor, and wrote powerful novels.However, since he was still part of a rich family, he had access to modern technology at the time that allowed to travel such as passage to ships. He had more time than the ordinary Filipino because they had help at home. He was sent to Manila for his studies which mean he had access to the latest in Filipino education. He lived a full life through discipline, focus, curiosity, and reading. It was further enriched by travel and exposure to different cultures and ideas. Rizal is proof tha technology helps, but dedication and purpose are the real keys to success.
