In my opinion, It is difficult to allow traditional healers to prescribe medication in modern hospitals. Patient safety must come first, even though tradition is important. It can be dangerous to use treatments without scientific evidence of their efficacy and safety. To ensure that people are receiving treatment that is both effective and safe, any combination of modern and traditional medicine requires rigorous research and regulations. This is the main problem. Modern medications are tested for side effects, safety, and the proper dosage. The same rigorous testing has not been applied to many traditional remedies. Herbs may be toxic, administered in excess, or adversely interact with contemporary medications. The following are also the reason why it's not recommendable, or difficult:Safety Concerns (As stated above)Evidence That They Are EffectiveLack of RegulationDanger of Postponing Treatment Though we might blend both modern medical practices to traditional ones by:Recognize and honor one another's approaches and convictions.Provide methods for referring patients to each other when necessary.Collaborate in clinics or visit patients together. To improve care coordination, share patient information with consent.Share your knowledge of medicine with one another.Collaborate to gather evidence by conducting studies on conventional treatments.Develop shared rules and ethical practices for working together.
