As shown in the picture, weathering causes rocks to break down and produce sediments, and these sediments are carried by the rainwater to another place. However, the rainwater is not the only agent of erosion in this picture.

Which question would BEST investigate how other agents of erosion affect the large rock?

How does the wind cause the small pieces of rock to stick together?

What effect is gravity having on the rocks?

What role does the water in the lake play in the transportation of rocks?

How do the actions of animals cause the large rock to break up into small pieces?

Answer:Its difficult to find the right answer since there was no picture so i am going to consider the question that are most likely agent of erosion to large rock. The question 4, "How do the actions of animals cause the large rock to break up into small pieces" fits the investigation about how other agents of erosion affect the large rock. question 1 cannot be since wind that stick small rocks together does not contribute to agent of erosion that affect large rocksquestion 2 gravity does contribute in moving rocks but only when there is an other external factor involved. Like for example there was flood and then the flood bumps to rock and broke some of it. gravity might pull larger rocks. but since in the first statement a rainwater is involved this could be the answer.question 3 cannot be, its too obvious so i wont explain it more. Therefore, Question 4 is the answer.
