Being a point guard is both a privilege and a responsibility. I’ve learned that it’s more than just dribbling or making plays. It’s about leading, communicating, and lifting the entire team. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is managing the game tempo while making quick decisions. As a point guard, you have to anticipate both your teammates' and opponents' movements.The most meaningful moments happen when a play works perfectly because of team chemistry. Whether it's a fast break or a well-timed assist, the joy of seeing your teammates score after your setup is unmatched. I’ve also learned to be mentally tough, especially during tight games. There were times I felt the pressure to make the winning shot or stop a turnover, but it taught me focus and resilience.This role has made me a better communicator, not only on the court but even in life. Basketball became my training ground for leadership, decision-making, and accountability. I know now that being a point guard means being the team’s foundation, and I wear that role with pride.
