Reflection Essay: The Two Faces of Technology in My LifeTechnology has become an integral part of both personal and entrepreneurial life. From the videos I’ve watched, it’s clear that technology can be a powerful force for good—but also comes with serious risks. Reflecting on my own experiences, the two most significant benefits of technology are enhanced communication and efficiency in tasks, while the most critical drawbacks are privacy concerns and overdependence. One major benefit is how technology improves communication. Whether through instant messaging, video calls, or collaborative platforms, staying in touch with others—especially in business or school—has never been easier. It saves time and enables me to connect with people regardless of location. Another advantage is increased efficiency. From using apps for organization to automating routine work, technology helps me accomplish tasks faster and with greater accuracy, freeing up time for more important goals. However, one critical drawback is privacy. With the amount of personal information we share online, there is always a risk of data breaches or misuse. This makes me cautious about what I share and which platforms I trust. Another concern is overdependence. Technology can be so convenient that it becomes hard to function without it. I've noticed this especially during times when the internet goes down—I feel stuck, unproductive, and frustrated. In the end, as Darlene Damm and Deborah Nas point out, technology itself isn't good or bad—it's how we use it that determines its impact. We must be conscious and responsible, guiding technology in a direction that supports our values and well-being.EXPLANATION:Can't answer the poster.
