explain the interaction of solar energy with the layers of earth atmosphere

Answer (1)

Atmospheric Interactions:Reflection: Some solar radiation is reflected back into space by clouds, aerosols, and the Earth's surface (about 30%). Absorption: Certain atmospheric gases, like water vapor and carbon dioxide, absorb some of the incoming solar radiation, particularly in the infrared wavelengths. Scattering: Atmospheric gases and particles scatter solar radiation, causing the sky to appear blue and making it possible to see objects on Earth.
