For the conductors, Copper, Brass and steel are conductors because these are types of metals that conduct heat, For example, You are using a metal spatula and you cook with it, After done cooking the metal spatula will begin to heat up because metal is a conductor. The insulators does not let electricity transfer because it is called an insulator, and insulators does not let electricity pass through, For example, Rubber is used to cover copper wires and copper wires is a conductor which means it allows electricity or heat pass through so that is why we need to use Rubber, because rubber is an insulator so when we use rubber to cover up the copper wires, it does not allow electricity to pass through.
