Speed and MotionMotion occurs when an object changes its position over time. Speed is a measure of how fast or slow an object moves. It is calculated by dividing the distance traveled by the time taken. For example, if a car travels 100 kilometers in 2 hours, its speed is 50 kilometers per hour. Speed can be constant, like when a vehicle moves steadily on a highway, or variable, like in traffic where it slows down and speeds up. There are different types of speed, such as average speed, instantaneous speed, and constant speed. Understanding speed and motion helps us analyze the movement of objects, from simple walking to fast-moving airplanes.Guide Questions:1. What is motion?2. How is speed calculated?3. If a car travels 200 km in 4 hours, what is its speed?4. What are the different types of speed?5. Why is understanding speed and motion important?answer please.

I haven't read The Name Jar yet but looking at the book's cover and the author's name, I would have to guess that this is about an immigrant child's name. Many countries in Asia have naming conventions that are very hard to pronounce for non-native speakers.Since the author is most likely to be Korean, I am sure that she is writing about a common experience among children of Korean immigrants who adopt an English name so that they can assimilate more easily with the local population of their new country. The child in the picture is taking a paper out of a jar. I think she is choosing an English name from the "name jar."
