Different countries have different type of climates depending on its location,
topography and altitude.
In the Arctic region since it is located in the Northern Hemisphere where they
have six months day and six months night, they have a
very cold and chilly climate
because most of their land and bodies of
water are covered with thick ice.
In West Africa, specifically in Burkina Fasco, they have a hot climate due to its
land features particularly because of the Sahara
Desert. Desert is an arid land that
seldom receives rainfall. The presence of
the desert affects the climate, also because
Africa is located near the equator.
In Canada, they have continental climate the very reason why they experience
four seasons. The position of the mountain ranges
and the vast geography of the
country affect their climate.
In the Philippines, they have many climates and these were the; tropical
monsoon, tropical rainforest, tropical savannah
, humid subtropical and oceanic. The
existence of Pacific Ocean that surrounds
the country has a great factor for its climate.
