Since there are 3 types of Laws of motion created by Isaac Newton, we all have learned from it through Ms. Abe’s lessons as our first lesson. The first law of motion is Law of Inertia, this means that a body at rest will remain as it is, but a motion will continue in a constant speed unless it is acted upon a sudden force. The second law of motion is Law of Acceleration, the law of acceleration meaning that an object is directly proportional to a net force acting upon it. The last law of motion is Action Reaction. Action Reaction is the simplest one of all, that in every action theres is an equal, but there is too a reaction. Now how can Gymnastics be it be related the Laws of Motion? You see, gymnastics is a sport that heavily relies on physics, especially the laws of motion. Let’s take the 1st Law of motion in gymnastics, it can be Balance and stability, because it remains at a balanced and stable position, not until they will move. The second law can be the force of a gymnast for a tumbling pass, their speed depends on how much force they perform with their mass. The third law can be used when can be the interaction with the apparatus, which are the uneven bars or rings, when a gymnast pull or pushes the ring, it exerts the same and directly proportional motion but different force acting upon it.
